“Maricopa Wild Horses,” is a city-wide sculpture project and arts initiative by City Manager Rick Horst and was unveiled at City Hall. Sculptures of horses decorated by local artists were presented to the public.

This sculpture by artist, Mai May Tallwing called “Koolines from Fiji” measures 51? tall and 84? long. The horse is painted light blue with golden streaks in its mane and tail.
The left front leg has red flowers on it while the right has palm trees. The sides have multiple sea life designs of turtles, seahorses, starfish, coral, and an assortment of fish. There is a Monarch butterfly on his forehead.
The base of the statue is ocean blue and covered with starfish, seashells, fish, and an octopus.
