Adolf Fredrik's church in central Stockholm, built in 1774 and named after King Adolf Fredrik.
The church is built in the form of a cross with outstretched arms to the east and west. It is built in Neoclassicism with elements from the Rococo.
A dome is suspended over the crossing. The dome has four paintings by Julius Kronberg. Namely paintings of the adoration, the baptism of Jesus, the resurrection and a Pietà. (

Julius Kronberg (1850-1921) was a Swedish painter and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1895-1898. His best-known work "Hunting nymph and fauns" (1875, National Museum, Stockholm) has given him prominence as a painter of historical and biblical motifs. (
