It was originally built in the late 17th century, and it was then administered by the brotherhood of Santa Margarida.

It is a temple with a single nave, chancel and sacristy, flanked by the hermit's house. The facade was remodeled in the 19th century, maintaining the original portal. The interior only features a modest 19th century altarpiece.
