This fine public swimming pool is the centerpiece of the Elkhart Park complex - in Elkhart, Kansas.

This is a remarkably fine pool for a community of this size. The pool itself is in three sections - a diving area, a lane pool, and a "general" swimming pool. There is also a fourth shallow children's pool, with its own fence and plenty of seating for the parents. There is even a curvy enclosed water slide! The pool was drained at the time of my visit (September) but I would bet this is a popular spot all summer long. According to their web site, the pool generally opens in May and is open until school starts in August.
