A violin is one of several artistic additions to the Vera Cruz House in Santa Barbara (often referred as "The Art House"). The violin is on the back side of the house, between the lighthouse and train.
The entire exterior of the house is painted in artistic panels, and there were only a few limitations of what the artists could do.
