(DE) In Braunfels in Hessen steht neben der Stadtbücherei ein Automat, an dem man statt Zigaretten kleine Kunstwerke kaufen kann. Eine Schachtel Kunst kostet vier Euro. Kunstautomaten gibt es in vielen Städten in Europa und Nordamerika. Eine Mitarbeiterin der Stadt Braunfels fand die Idee so gut, dass sie auch in Mittelhessen einen haben wollte.
(EN) In Braunfels in Hesse there is an art vending machine next to the city library where you can buy small works of art instead of cigarettes. A box of art costs four euros. Art vending machines can be found in many cities in Europe and North America. An employee of the city of Braunfels thought the idea was so good that she wanted to have one in Central Hesse too.
