"El Instituto Lluís Vives es un Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria (IES) situado en la ciudad de Valencia. Está ubicado entre las calles de Játiva, Arzobispo Mayoral, Avenida Marqués de Sotelo y la calle de San Pablo.
Parte del edificio es la Capilla del antiguo colegio San Pablo. Debe su nombre a Juan Luis Vives, un humanista, filósofo y pedagogo español.
El instituto se hizo célebre al ser el lugar donde se originaron las protestas estudiantiles sucedidas en febrero de 2012, en lo que se ha llamado la Primavera valenciana.
Bajo el mismo instituto se encuentra un refugio de la Guerra Civil que albergaba a los estudiantes durante los bombardeos. Consta de cuatro galerías paralelas unidas por siete pasillos. Se usó como almacén y actualmente sólo hay una entrada de las tres que existieron.
El decano de los institutos de secundaria valencianos actuó desde sus orígenes, además, como un verdadero centro de investigación y de cultura, llegando a destacar especialmente en el campo de la Historia Natural desde comienzos del siglo XX. Su espléndida colección lo atestigua."

"The Lluís Vives Institute is a Secondary Education Institute (IES) located in the city of Valencia. It is located between the streets of Játiva, Arzobispo Mayoral, Avenida Marqués de Sotelo and Calle de San Pablo.
Part of the building is the Chapel of the old San Pablo school. It owes its name to Juan Luis Vives, a Spanish humanist, philosopher and pedagogue.
The institute became famous as the place where the student protests that took place in February 2012 originated, in what has been called the Valencian Spring.
Under the same institute there is a Civil War shelter that housed students during the bombings. It consists of four parallel galleries joined by seven corridors. It was used as a warehouse and currently there is only one entrance of the three that existed.
The dean of Valencian secondary schools also acted from its origins as a true center of research and culture, coming to stand out especially in the field of Natural History since the beginning of the 20th century. His splendid collection bears witness to this."
