PT: "Câmara Municipal construída em finais do séc. 19, com projeto do arquiteto José Pereira Viana, com planta retangular e fachadas de dois pisos. Possui grande sobriedade e singeleza de linhas, de fenestração regular, apresentando em todas as fachadas vãos sobrepostos, apenas com um ritmo mais rico na principal, onde alterna a modinatura em arco com a de verga reta encimada por frontão, esta ao nível do andar nobre. Referência ainda para a guarda da sacada destas janelas, visto ser decorada com florões e motivos enrolados, em módulos sucessivos. Enquanto os cunhais da fachada principal são curvos, os da posterior são em aresta viva. As fachadas laterais são rasgadas por vãos retilíneos, correspondendo inicialmente os do primeiro piso a portas, entretanto fechadas e transformadas em janelas de peitoril, conforme denotam as cantarias."
