EN: "Civil chain of the town, built in the 17th century, with a rectangular plan and two-story facades, denoting major planimetric and structural changes carried out over time, especially in the 18th century. 19 and 20, to adapt to new usage needs. The existence of some openings facing north, currently boarded up, reveal the connection it had with a building attached to that side, possibly the town's original town hall which, in 1835, before being demolished, had an arcade, as was common in this typology. of buildings. Although the entire building is characterized by its simplicity, the layout of the main and rear facades is different, the latter being significantly richer, as it has the frames of the openings ending in a cornice. This facade was, however, altered, since one of the doors on the first floor was transformed into a window and the other was excessively raised, joining the sill window on the second floor, creating a flag, in order to overcome the interior unevenness and its new spatial organization, with the creation of a stairwell in the northeast corner of the building. On the main facade, the armillary sphere, coat of arms and crown, broken off, must have been reused from the old building. Inside, special reference is made to the ground floor, of two wings with brick vaults resting on stonework pillars, and to the various chimneys it retains, as well as the grilled opening of an old cell. in order to overcome the interior unevenness and its new spatial organization, with the creation of a stairwell in the northeast corner of the building.
