Alec Andon, better known as Alec Monopoly, is an artist from New York City.

Alec Monopoly is an American street artist known for appropriating the mascot of the game Monopoly, Rich Uncle Pennybags or simply Mr. Monopoly, as his main subject.

Living and working in Los Angeles, Monopoly subverts image and text to critique capitalist hierarchies through the language of consumer culture, media and pop iconography, concerns he shares with British street artist Banksy.

Although his identity has not been confirmed, the artist was born in 1986 in New York to a family of painters. He appreciates the democracy inherent in graffiti, saying "Painting on walls is more fun for me because everyone can enjoy it, not just collectors or art lovers".

Monopoly cites Salvador Dalí as a source of inspiration, as well as Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
