Pvt. Sylvanus A. Bradshaw served in the Civil War and died at the age of sixty-three. The Bradshaw family monument names Sylvanus, his wife Elzorah, and their daughter Claudie. The large monument is topped with a life-sized sculpture of a grieving woman, in classical Greek style. The woman, dressed in flowing robes, is portrayed as seated, with flowers in one hand and her chin resting in another.
