Kansas City Fire District Station 17 is on the east side of The Paseo, just north of 35th Street - in Kansas City, Missouri.

This large red-brick four-bay firehouse is on the east side of The Paseo, just north of 35th Street. The sign out front also notes that this is the home for Pumper Unit 17, Truck Unit 2, and Rescue Unit 31. There is a sizeable complex behind the equipment bay as well. A sign on the wall indicates that this is a safe drop point for newborns.
For those interested in such diversions, there is a geocache hidden right under the sign. The firefighters know that it is there, and if they see you struggling they will come out and offer a hint.
