This fine red-brick one-room eight-grade schoolhouse served Rapp until 1959; it is currently maintained by the Rapp School Preservation Association. The old school bell is on display northeast of the schoolhouse, near an entrance to Rapp Cemetery. There is a pull cord on the bell, and it still rings!
