This war memorial is situated outside of Bridge of Earn Public Hall & Institute and commemorates the fallen from WWI from the three surrounding parishes of Dunbarney, Dron, and Rhynd.
The memorial was unveiled by Sir Robert Moncreiffe on August 15th 1920, and is a facsimile of St Martin's Cross at Iona in Dumfries-shire sandstone, standing on a plinth on two steps. The inscription lies on the shaft of the cross, facing Station Road to the south, and reads:
'IN GLORIOUS MEMORY OF THE MEN FROM THE PARISHES OF DUNBARNEY, DRON AND RHYND WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919'
On the rear of the plinth is a quote from the Book of Ecclesiastics:
'AND THEIR GLORY SHALL NOT BE BLOTTED OUT THEIR BODIES BURIED IN PEACE BUT THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE'
