[FIN] Togon kolikko purjealus Pommernista on julkaistu vuonna 2011.

Pommern on teräsrunkoinen nelimastoinen parkki. Se rakennettiin 1903 Glasgow'ssa J. Reid & Co -telakalla hampurilaiselle B.Wenke & Söhne -varustamolle ja sai nimekseen Mneme. Vuonna 1906 alus sai uuden nimen Pommern siirtyessään uudelle omistajalleen hampurilaiselle F. Laeisz -varustamolle. Nimi tarkoittaa Pommerin maakuntaa. Se kuljetti linjaliikenteessä rahtia Atlantilla vieden Euroopasta kappaletavaraa Etelä-Afrikkaan.

[EN] Togo's coin about the sailing ship Pommern was published in 2011. It belongs to the History on Ships series. The coin is silver and has a nominal value of 1000 Togolese francs. On the other side of the coin, Pommern and the year of the ship's completion, 1903, are depicted.

Pommern (former name Mneme) is a former ship owner Gustaf Erikson's cargo sailing ship, which is currently a museum ship in Mariehamn. Pommern is a four-masted barque with a steel frame. It was built in 1903 in Glasgow at the J. Reid & Co shipyard for the Hamburg shipping company B.Wenke & Söhne and was named Mneme. In 1906, the ship was renamed Pommern when it was transferred to its new owner, the Hamburg-based F. Laeisz shipping company. The name means the province of Pomerania. It carried cargo in liner traffic on the Atlantic, taking bulk goods from Europe to South Africa.
