Esta fuente pública representa a la diosa de la Concordia, en la religión romana, Concordia era la diosa del acuerdo, el entendimiento y la armonía matrimonial. Su versión griega es Harmonía, y los harmonianos y algunos discordianos la igualan con Aneris.
La ciudad de Pompeya contaba con 40 fuentes públicas repartidas por toda la ciudad, esta es una de ellas, en Vicolo di Eumachia, 68, 80045 Pompei NA, Italia
Las fuentes constaban de un estanque frontal alimentado por un depósito trasero a través de una tubería ; el tamaño de las cuencas osciló entre 1 y 7 m 3 . Los embalses se abastecían tanto de agua de lluvia como del acueducto público.
En sus primeros siglos como ciudad, Pompeya obtenía la mayor parte de su agua de cisternas subterráneas , que se alimentaban del agua de lluvia recogida de los tejados.
This public fountain represents the goddess of Concord, in Roman religion, Concord was the goddess of agreement, understanding and marital harmony. Its Greek version is Harmony, and Harmonians and some Discordians equate it with Aneris.

The fountains consisted of a front pool fed by a rear reservoir via a pipe; the size of the basins ranged from 1 to 7 m 3 . The reservoirs were supplied with both rainwater and the public aqueduct.
In its first centuries as a city, Pompeii obtained most of its water from underground cisterns, which were fed by rainwater collected from rooftops.
