Piscina in St Benedict's church, Glastonbury. Located in the south wall of the chancel, it dates from the mid 13th century.
Decorated with a trefoil-headed opening beneath a gabled hoodmould, with crockets of stiff-leaf. The octagonal bowl is supported on a pendant corbel, with smaller pendants flanking.
Although the church is mainly late medieval, with the chancel perhaps renewed in the mid-14th century, the piscina seems to be a survivor of a slightly earlier period.
