WINS Bowness Clothesline - Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Murals on Waymarking.com

Quilts and bright clothes hang from a clothesline painted near the back entrance to the Bowness Women in Need Society thrift store. This mural can be seen in Google Street View captures starting in 2007. The style is similar to the mural behind the nearby Bowness Seniors Centre, and originally extended all the way to the ground, with images of bushes, flowers, and a park bench. (visit link) Sometime between 2009 and 2015, the mural must have been vandalized, as the 2015 Street View image shows the bottom half of the image painted over with gray paint, leaving only the clothesline.
