L'église appartenait à un prieuré dépendant de l'abbaye de Saint-Cyran. Le prieuré de Rosnay fut supprimé en 1712, et le patronage de l'église fut confié à l'archevêque de Bourges. L'église fut entièrement reconstruite dans la seconde moitié du XVe siècle. Elle se compose d'une nef unique rectangulaire, précédée d'un clocher-porche et terminée par un choeur à chevet plat. A l'exception du clocher-porche, qui paraît avoir été bâti au XVIIe siècle ou au XVIIIe siècle, les autres parties constituantes appartiennent à la campagne du XVe siècle. L'intérieur conserve un ensemble de peintures murales recouvrant les murs de la nef et du choeur.

The church belonged to a priory dependent on the abbey of Saint-Cyran. The priory of Rosnay was abolished in 1712, and the patronage of the church was entrusted to the archbishop of Bourges. The church was completely rebuilt in the second half of the 15th century. It consists of a single rectangular nave, preceded by a bell tower-porch and finished by a choir with a flat apse. With the exception of the bell tower-porch, which appears to have been built in the 17th or 18th century, the other constituent parts belong to the countryside of the 15th century. The interior retains a set of murals covering the walls of the nave and the choir.
