Holy Trinity Cemetery is just east of Exira, on the south side of Littlefield Drive. This white marble statue of Jesus Christ is in the back (or south) part of the cemetery. The statue, which is slightly smaller than life sized, depicts Jesus garbed in flowing robes and with armes outstretched, as if addressing an audience.

Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity. Most Christians believe he is the incarnation of God the Son and the awaited Messiah (the Christ) prophesied in the Old Testament. Christian doctrine holds that Jesus performed many miracles, was baptized by John, ministered and preached among the people of Israel for three years, was tried and executed by crucifixion so that his death could serve as an atonement for sin, was raised from the dead after three days, and ascended into Heaven, from where He will one day return.
