La variété des habitats naturels que l'on peut observer ici s'accompagne naturellement d'une grande diversité floristique et faunistique: outre des espèces liées aux prairies, haies, forêts et habitations, ce site abrite aussi de nombreuses espèces typiques des zones humides.

[EN] The interest of the "Marais du Puycharraud" lies in the fact that, on the outskirts of the town, it offers a range of environments (meadows, woodlands and ponds) characteristic of wetlands, in a small area of 3.5 hectares.
