The Oklahoma City landmark Skydance Bridge was one of four Bridges featured on a new postage stamp. These are business class stamps only available in coils.
The pedestrian bridge crosses over I-40 at Scissortail Park.
From okc.gov:
Inspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher, Skydance bridge soars over Interstate 40. The bridge is a 380-foot-long pedestrian bridge with a 197-foot-tall sculpture.
The bridge opened in 2012.
It connects Upper and Lower Scissortail Park.
Total cost for the pedestrian bridge was $5.8 million.
The bridge design and structural engineering was performed locally by S-X-L.
