The Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre is not quite so confusing as Rhodes Waterside to get into the car park, but it can be accessed best when travelling 'east' on Victoria Road. The first three hours of parking are free in the undercover car park, but then it is $5. Head NE through the shopping centre on ground floor, until you see the signs for 'the Basement', which where the ALDI store is located right beside the end of the escalator.

This parking fee is calculated on numberplate recognition so there is no ticketing to handle. The store is readily wheelchair accessible. It has a large alcohol section - but I didn't see any signage to show that there is reduced hours on Sunday.
