Escudo heráldico municipal de Muro de Alcoy.

En la documentación que he consultado DOGV, BOE, etc. no he encontrado una descripción heráldica oficial del Escudo, en base a lo cual la descripción oficial sera incluida en el blog en el momento disponga de la misma.

El documento más antiguo que he encontrado con una prueba gráfica de un símbolo utilizado por el Ayuntamiento es un sello de tinta del año 1876 , impreso en un documento existente en el Archivo Histórico Nacional del Ministerio de Educación.

En este documento emitido por el Ayuntamiento de Muro y remitido al Ministerio de Gobernación no se especifica si hay un registro, solo se indica que se viene utilizando por el Ayuntamiento.

El escudo que se utiliza en la actualidad por el Ayuntamiento consiste en un escudo en losanje con las armas reales (en campo de oro cuatro palos de gules), con dos leones en la parte inferior y por timbre una corona de barón.

Municipal heraldic shield of Muro de Alcoy.

The oldest document that I have found with a graphic proof of a symbol used by the City Council is an ink stamp from the year 1876, printed on an existing document in the National Historical Archive of the Ministry of Education.

In this document issued by the City Council of Muro and sent to the Ministry of the Interior, it is not specified if there is a registry, it only indicates that it has been used by the City Council.

The shield that is currently used by the City Council consists of a lozenge shield with the royal arms (in a field of gold four sticks of gules), with two lions at the bottom and a baron's crown for stamp.
