"Houghton M. Roberts Beach is among a chain of Monterey State Beaches located between Seaside Beach and Del Monte Beach. The beaches are sandy and flat with plenty of room to move around. People come here to enjoy beach-combing, kite flying, or just to soak up the sun. Kayakers, surfers, and stand-up paddleboarders launch from the shallow and generally calm waters this beach offers."
