This fantastical mural is located on the side of the Bowness Library building, and has images relating to many of the things that make Bowness special.

- Hextall Homes: the houses that were built by Bowness developer and founder John Hextall between 1910 and 1914 (visit link)

- Bow Cycle store, cyclists, and motorcyclists: Before the library moved to this site, it was occupied for several decades by Bow Cycle, which sold bicycles and motorcycles. (Bow Cycle is now located across the street from the library.) Today, Bowness is the site of the annual Tour de Bowness bicycle race and street festival (visit link)

- Bowness was the site of the Calgary area's first airfield (visit link)

- Wildlife - Bowness Park and the Bow River (visit link)

- Bowness streetcar line (visit link)

The large green object at the top right corner of the mural is a stylized rendition of the Bow Cycle's wheel sign, which is still at the top of the library building.
