In 1910, the borough of Emaus (Emmaus was called Emaus then) constructed a new elementary school on New Street (now Broad Street). The building is two stories tall and has its' name and year of construction by the main entrance.
It was used up until the 1960s per the local Historical Society and residents. The current use is as apartments, with parking on the sides and back.
