This is a 19th century fountain in the southern village of Estoi and it's dated 1890.

This fountain is part of a set of five which in the old times used to provide potable water to the population of the village. In extended times of draught, well, they are dry. This is one is located close to the public washing house, where the women of Estoi used to come for laundry... and a good chat.
