Straatveger is een oud beroep op de markt staat daarvan een beeld in brons.
In zijn ene hand heeft de straatveger een bezem en in de andere 'schep' om de rommel in op te vegen.
Op de sokkel van het beeld staat een plaquette met een 'prullenbak' in de vorm van een soort karretje op wieltjes om de rommel in mee te kunnen nemen.
Op de plaquette staat: Boxtel durf te leven.

In one hand the street sweeper has a broom and in the other 'shovel' to sweep up the mess.
On the plinth of the statue is a plaque with a 'trash can' in the form of a kind of cart on wheels to take the rubbish with you.
