The brick, timber and tile Lychgate stands at the corner of Jubilee Terrace and Waterworks Road. "These Gates were erected by the Parishioners of Ashgrove in affectionate and grateful memory of His Majesty King George VI; 15th June 1952". The single bell that is mounted in a cross-topped housing above the brown-tiled roof was a gift from Herbert and Patricia Booty and family, also 15/6/1952. There are two low dark-brown gates inside the orange-brick pillars that support the four timber posts each, that hold up the peaked tiled roof. It is placed diagonal to the intersection.
