This is a beautiful old well in the old area of Panjim, capital town of the Indian state of Goa

This well can be seen in a small square in Fontainhas neighborhood next to a chapel. This part of the town is the oldest of Panjim. Sometimes the well is decorated with festive flags and on occasions popular parties take place on the spot.
