This is a pair of humming stones. In total there are three stones. There is no plaque or sign but they are obvious! There are three holes, so adults and children can all enjoy them.
The Lerner Garden of the Five Senses is a section of the CMBG. They have a labyrinth made of smooth cobblestones for reflexology, a waterfall that is lovely to watch and listen to, lots of flowers to smell, and the stones for hearing. On the map at the entrance to the garden (which is a 3-d map enhanced with Braille) they are labeled the "sound stones."
surroundings: Botanical garden
 numbers of humming hollows: 3
 material: Granite
 year of placement: 01/01/2009
