The closing of the church according to Wikipedia:
"Although the Maastricht Lutherans were part of the PKN municipality of Maastricht after the merger, with the Sint-Janskerk located on the Vrijthof as its church building, the building on Hondstraat was also used twice a month for Lutheran services. From 2002, the building was shared with the Maastricht Old Catholic Church. The church was also a popular concert venue. The last services in the building took place in June 2013.
At the beginning of 2014, the Evangelical Lutheran congregation sold the church building and the two adjoining buildings from 1935-37 to a private investor, who wants to establish houses, a bed and breakfast, galleries and a cultural stage in it, among other things. The architect Wiel Arets will make a design for this"
