The Silver Dragon offers Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine, as well as Chinese-Canadian favorites like ginger beef and sweet & sour chicken balls. A short vegetarian menu is also available. Staff speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Their menu is printed in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

For 51 years (1962-2013), this building was home to Phil's Restaurant, a family restaurant offering all-day breakfast. After the Treutler family closed Phil's Restaurant, the Silver Dragon moved here from their longtime second-floor location on Banff Avenue (1988-2013). (visit link)

This restaurant is one of the very few in Banff with parking nearby, which makes it a good choice for people who can't walk far.

Their ginger beef is excellent, and their sweet & sour chicken balls are the best I've had.
