[FIN] ÅSS on maineikas purjehdusseura Maarianhaminassa. Se on perustettu 1897. Seura järjestää kilpailuja kesäisin ja sillä on hyvin varustettu marina aivan Maarianhaminan kaupungin keskustan lähellä.
Satamassa on mahdollista yöpyä ja siellä on suihkut, sauna, vaatteiden pesupaikka. ÅSS:n ravintola löytyy myös alueelta.

ÅSS:n organisaatio koostuu hallituksesta, operatiivisesta johtajasta ja useista jaostoista (valiokuntia). Hallitusta johtaa ÅSS:n kommodori ja myös hallituksen puheenjohtaja, varakommodori, rahastonhoitaja, seuramestari, kilpailupäällikkö, junior manager, veneilypäällikkö ja viestintäpäällikkö. Osa hallituksen jäsenistä toimii vuorostaan ÅSS:n eri osastojen puheenjohtajina.


[SWE] ÅSS är en välrenommerad segelklubb i Mariehamn. Den grundades 1897. Klubben anordnar tävlingar på sommaren och har en välutrustad småbåtshamn alldeles i närheten av Mariehamns stadskärna.

ÅSS organisation består av styrelse, verksamhetschef samt ett antal sektioner (kommittéer).
Styrelsen leds av ÅSS kommodor och tillika styrelsens ordförande, vice kommodor, skattmästare, klubbmästare, kappseglingschef, juniorchef, boatingchef och kommunikationschef. Vissa av styrelsemedlemmarna fungerar i sin tur som ordförande för ÅSS olika sektioner.


[EN] ÅSS is a famous sailing club in Mariehamn. It was founded in 1897. The club organizes competitions in the summer and has a well-equipped marina right near Mariehamn's city center. It is possible to stay overnight in the harbor and there are showers, a sauna, and a place to wash clothes. ÅSS's restaurant can also be found in the area. Boats can be launched and raised from the water at this location. There is storage space for trailers. You can empty septic tanks here.

ÅSS's organization consists of a board, operations manager and a number of sections (committees). The board is led by the ÅSS commodore and also the chairman of the board, deputy commodore, treasurer, club master, racing manager, junior manager, boating manager and communications manager. Some of the board members in turn act as chairpersons for ÅSS's various sections.
