Thank Reba McEntire for this Starbucks. She was born in McAlester and grew up near Stringtown, both a little north of here, and the word is that she passed through town, saw it in decline, and decided to help out. Her "Reba's Place" has been quite popular, giving Atoka a much-needed boost, and this Starbucks will likely be very popular with travelers going up and down 69/75.
There are three small round tables down the center of the store, a big table near the back entrance, and a mixture of table types in front of a big padded bench where the outlets are at your feet. There is at least one wall outlet at the back of the store. There are a few places to sit outside, covered, where you can watch busy traffic.
The wi-fi speed isn't spectacular, but it's pretty good, with the upload and download speeds being fairly close to each other.
