Ermita construida en el año 1460 y reconstruida en los años 1780, 1886 y 1981, siempre con donativos de los vecinos de Rafol de Salem, según consta en la leyenda colocada en una de las paredes de la ermita.
Algunos datos recopilados sobre esta ermita:
En 15 de Septiembre de 1.678, D. Vicente Giménez, vicario de Benaguacil, dió graciosamente a este pueblo, la reliquia de San Blas, que es de plata y que aún se venera.
El 17 de Noviembre de 1.700 dando facultad al cura de almas que entonces era de este pueblo, para bendecir la referida Ermita y que se pudiera celebrar en ella el Santo Sacrificio de la Misa, siempre y cuando lo pidiere cualquier vecino, pudiéndola oir todos, con el objeto de evitar que tuviesen que ir a otro puesto lejano a oirla; con cuyo motivo fué bendecida dicha Ermita con la debida forma y según el ritual de 26 de Diciembre del referido año 1.700, y se celebró Misa solemne el siguiente dia 27 por D. Francisco Segura, cura de Beniatjar, con asistentes.
El campanario fue levantado sobre los años 1830 o 1831.
Hermitage built in the year 1460 and rebuilt in the years 1780, 1886 and 1981, always with donations from the residents of Rafol de Salem, according to the legend placed on one of the walls of the hermitage.
Some data collected about this hermitage:
On September 15, 1678, D. Vicente Giménez, vicar of Benaguacil, graciously gave this town the relic of San Blas, which is made of silver and is still venerated.
On November 17, 1700, empowering the priest of souls, who was from this town at the time, to bless the aforementioned Hermitage so that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass could be celebrated there, as long as any neighbor requests it, with everyone being able to hear it, in order to avoid having to go to another distant post to hear it; for which reason said Hermitage was blessed with the proper form and according to the ritual of December 26 of the aforementioned year 1700, and solemn Mass was celebrated the following day 27 by D. Francisco Segura, priest of Beniatjar, with assistants.
The bell tower was built around the years 1830 or 1831.
