The Palatul Național (National Palace) 'Nicolae Sulac' is
the largest and most important cultural building in the Republic of Moldova.
The architect was S. Fridman. Is has about 2000 seats. It is used for
national and international concerts of various genres, shows, festive
gatherings, conferences etc.
"The Palatul Național (National Palace) 'Nicolae Sulac' is a concert
and festival venue in the centre of Chisinau (Republic of Moldova). The
construction of the Palace was completed in 1972 and then it was called Sala
de Sesiuni (Hall of Sessions), where theatre and entertainment performances
were organized. It was renamed in 1990."
