While not etched into the cornerstone, the dates of founding and construction are painted in this Church.

The first church building was dedicated on July 22, 1759, by Reformed and Lutheran settlers. The first minister was the Rev. Daniel Schumacher, who served until 1768.

The church was occupied for 30 years before falling to ruins. From 1791 to 1843, there was no church on the property.

The present building was constructed in 1847, and both Reformed and Lutheran congregations attended services there until 1964, when the union with the United Church of Christ was dissolved and the Reformed group moved to another location.

Since then, the building has been titled the Jerusalem Lutheran Church.
Year of construction: 1847
