Este reloj de sol que vemos es el antiguo reloj que existía en la primitiva y extinta ermita de la Consolación, lo único se salvo del derrumbe fué su fachada y el reloj de sol que lucía en ella, hoy en día esta fachada hace de cierre perimetral del previo de la nueva ermita, está apuntalado por la parte trasera por peligro de derrumbe.
