Okanagan Falls Heritage & Museum opened in 1984, after the Bassett House was moved to it current location. The museum is filled filled with artefacts and paraphernalia germane to the period.
Within the museum just as you enter and to your right is this Renfrew 2 Burner Electric Stove. Though a little worse for wear it appears to be complete. There is an oven below the cooktop. Though the sign indicates circa 1925, it appears the Renfrew Company manufactured these stoves from about 1920.

Though I have seen my share of stoves, this is a first for me. I was at the museum for an open house and the BBQ.
The Little two burner electric stove came from a cabin on Hody Drive which Elizabeth Moodie bought.
She later gave the stove to the museum. It is the same pattern as the stove that they had in Vancouver about 1925.
Information provided by Elizabeth Moodie, August 17, 1997.
