Pointe du Raz is a masterpiece of nature, facing the impetuous Raz de Sein.

Alone or accompanied, your steps will take you along the coastal path between moor and ocean, and there, in front of you, discover the grandeur of the panorama of the famous Raz de Sein, well known to sailors, with its Vieille and Tévennec lighthouses and the fascinating island of Sein.

In this setting of high cliffs covered with moors, exposed to the waves and the winds, the Pointe du Raz is certainly the most famous natural site in Finistère, but other places much less famous, but just as fascinating, make up this Great Site of France of more than 2,000 hectares. Thus the North coast which stretches from Pointe du Van to Pointe du Millier, offers a succession of rocky spurs converted into fortified sites in the Iron Age. Nowadays, seabirds make it their universe, part of this space constitutes the Cap Sizun Reserve. It contributes to providing them with the necessary conditions for the preservation of their habitats.

La Pointe du Raz est un chef-d’œuvre de la nature, face à l’impétueux Raz de Sein.

Seul ou accompagné, vos pas vous mèneront sur le sentier littoral entre lande et océan, et là, devant vous, découvrez la grandeur du panorama du célèbre Raz de Sein, bien connu des marins, avec ses phares de la Vieille et de Tévennec et la fascinante île de Sein.

Dans ce décor de hautes falaises couvertes de landes, exposées aux flots et aux vents, la Pointe du Raz est certes le site naturel le plus connu du Finistère, mais d’autres lieux bien moins célèbres, mais tout aussi fascinants composent ce Grand Site de France de plus de 2 000 hectares. Ainsi la côte Nord qui s’étire de la Pointe du Van à la Pointe du Millier, offre une succession d’éperons rocheux convertis en sites fortifiés à l’âge du fer. De nos jours, les oiseaux marins en font leurs univers, une partie de cet espace constitue la Réserve du Cap Sizun. Elle contribue à leur assurer les conditions nécessaires à la préservation de leurs habitats.
