Baptism font in Holy Trinity church, Walton.
An elaborate font with detached marble shafts in a central column. Carved in the early Victorian manner, it was given by Lord John Thynne (rector from 1823 to 1850). The supporting pillars are of Cork marble and the bowl is Painswick stone. The flat faces of the bowl are carved with roundels with relief carvings of religious significance; Cross, IHC, Dove.
