Mariposario del Drago is an indoor butterfly park in Icod de los Vinos on Tenerife Island. It is located next to the entrance to Parque del Drago Milenario, the park showing world's largest dragon tree.
Inside the house over 800 exotic butterflys fly around freely. They are from 150 species from all over the world. Most of them are bred in the butterfly house, visitors can watch the stages of their metamorphosis. Flowers from Bali, Costa Rica and Thailand have been planted to probide a suitable environment for the butterflys.
