This PennDOT Survey Control Mark disk is set in the top of a concrete wall on the southeast end of the bridge crossing Laurel Run on Route 26 in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The bridge is about 3 miles south of Whipple Dam State Park. The disk is marked with "PENNDOT SURVEY CONTROL MARK" and "CHIEF HIGHWAY ENGINEER," but does not have any other designation or year stamped on it. The disk is not included on the National Geodetic Survey Data Explorer website, nor is it on the map on the PennDOT PAMS (Photogrammetry Asset Management System) website. The bridge looks like it was rebuilt recently, and the mark was found in good condition.
