Recreación un poco estrambótica de la última cena realizada en madera.
Cuando oímos la última cena de Jesús, a todos nos viene a la mente el mural de Leonardo Da Vinci, donde los doce apóstoles están alrededor de Jesús ante una mesa austera. En cambio en esta maqueta vemos a los doce apóstoles muy dispersos.
Para poder contemplar esta obra deberemos de acercarnos a la Basílica de San Eustaquio en Piazza di S. Eustachio, 00186 Roma, Italia, en el horario de 8:00 a 19:00 horas.
Es una lástima no tener más información sobre esta obra en madera, pero a veces el arte es así, encuentras la obra pero no al artista.
La última cena recrea el versículo bíblico en el que Jesús comparte el pan y el vino con sus doce apóstoles, momentos previos antes de ser arrestado, ante la traición de Judas Iscariote y, posteriormente, crucificado. Una de las historias más importantes de la fe cristiana.
