[ES] “Figura completa de un oso rampante en actitud defensiva, realizada en bronce y colocada sobre un pedestal prismático y liso de piedra caliza blanca, en el altozano del parque que mira hacia el lago contiguo a la calle Ramón y Cajal.
El pedestal descansa sobre un pequeño plinto o grada del mismo tipo de piedra y tiene en su frente grabada en letra gótica alemana la palabra Berlín.
En el plinto de bronce de la estatua, y del lado derecho se aprecia grabada la firma del escultor: NAVARRO / SANTAFÉ, en tanto que en el lado izquierdo está la marca del fundidor: ÁNGEL FUNDIDOR / MADRID.
El monumento está rodeado por un prado, y medio envuelto por su parte delantera por un grupo arbustivo de pittosporum.”

[EN] “Complete figure of a rampant bear in a defensive attitude, made in bronze and placed on a prismatic and smooth white limestone pedestal, on the hillock of the park that looks towards the lake next to Ramón y Cajal street.
The pedestal rests on a small plinth or tier of the same type of stone and has the word Berlin engraved on its front in German Gothic script.
On the bronze plinth of the statue, and on the right side, the sculptor's signature can be seen engraved: NAVARRO / SANTAFÉ, while on the left side is the founder's mark: ÁNGEL FUNDIDOR / MADRID.
The monument is surrounded by a meadow, and half-enclosed at the front by a shrubby group of pittosporum.”
