The Warren Peak Fire Lookout is located atop the highest point in the Bear Lodge Mountains of northeastern Wyoming.

This fire lookout was constructed in 1960. It is a 54-foot tall steel structure and is publicly accessible via Forest Service Road 840 (a dirt road spur that splits off from County Road 208 near the top of Warren Peak). When I visited the tower, there was a locked gate blocking access to the very top walkway around the cab. Nevertheless, the public is welcome to climb up the staircase to the point directly beneath the top of the tower.

Year-round access to the staircase leading to the top of the tower is available (be mindful that the road to the summit is not maintained in the winter); access is free to the public.
