The church has a single nave, with chapels between the buttresses. The façade stands out for its simplicity and its two Renaissance portals. The slender, square-shaped bell tower was used as a watchtower until a finial was added in the mid-19th century.

Inside, in the chapels, there are Neo-Baroque sculptures by Gallarza, the imperial bed of Nuestra Señora de Agosto (17th century) and the marble baptismal font (18th century). On the main altar (from the 17th century) there is a set of oil paintings by Josep Segrelles. Also from Segrelles are the paintings of religious scenes from Albaida that are between the arches of the chapels and the cornice of the nave, as well as the canvases of the Royal Chapel of Communion, an adjacent building from the 19th century. The sacristy preserves several luxurious ornaments from the 15th to the 20th centuries, highlighting the True Cross, a Gothic silver reliquary, possibly from the 15th century.
