From the intersection of State Highway 10 and Gyp Quarry Road at N41 01.040 W106 00.123, drive for about 1.50 miles along Gyp Quarry Road. The benchmark is about 50 feet to the southeast of the center of the road, and is set in the top of a round concrete monument that projects about 8 inches above the ground. While the sign for Gyp Quarry Road at the State Highway 10 turnoff implies that it is a "Private Road," it is entirely on BLM land up to and a short ways beyond the benchmark, meaning that it is completely legal to drive and park along the road (just be sure not to trespass if travelling any further to the northeast).
